Gymea, Sydney

Bathroom Renovation

Completed November 2017

Details of Job

For this bathroom renovation in Gymea we knocked down the wall between the main bathroom and toilet room, to convert the space into a larger bathroom.

We coordinated the installation of a new structural support beam and then project managed the demolition team to remove the existing wall. We then built a new wall in the hallway to cover the previous doorway, and then worked with Gyprockers to deliver new plaster, ceiling and cornices. Plus we used a cavity slider door in place of a swinging door to give more functional room.

All new plumbing was required as we completely changed the layout of the bathroom. New glass was installed into existing windows to modernise the windows. A custom shower screen was also designed to align with the modern aesthetics.

For the custom vanity that our team designed and manufactured, we included LED lights under the shaving cabinet. The vanity was finished with a stone top.

New tiling throughout the entire bathroom was required as well as new down lights.

What The Client Had To Say

“I could not recommend Sublime Kitchens and Bathrooms more. We have recently had our bathroom renovated and Brendan and his team were extremely professional from start to finish. I greatly valued the advice I got on the design, the support in sourcing the products, as well as the high quality of the job that they did. The attention to detail and the constant communication made the whole process from start to finish fantastic.”
